June is shaping up to be a nice relaxing month of staying local before summer travels pick up again in July. I recently picked up passenger-riding on a motorcycle. I'm certainly loving the discovery of network of serene, smaller roads criss-crossing farms and lakes upstate. Once I get me a garmin watch I'll try to map out where I go. So far bear mountain, 302, 202, 22, 6, and the obvious 9 have been superb. Added surprise are nom destinations in little towns along the way. The weather is never better too. Days like this remind me of why the journey is more important than the destination. Some days it's just more fun to have nowhere to go but simply take the time to get there.
As for later, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Edinburgh (Scotland), and probably one more epic August trip are on the deck for long distance trips. Hoping to squeeze in some beach time along the eastern shore locally too. The middle east is out of the picture due to all the political unrests. :-/ lots of options in the air right now. ... via mobile.
